My husband wants to get each others' names tatttooed on our ring fingers. We have wedding rings and I always wear my engagement ring too. Should I agree to it.

I've just seen a few of these and they are really cool. I love how other ppl answered about "what happens if you split up". GEEZ! Lets start our relationship thinking of failure!
Go for it...I think it would hurt though.

hell no way if you going to have both name on your fingers how will you know that marriage will last long. and I told my wife before she told me how would you know if going to last long??? I told her that is a good question... so we put names on the ring and it better if something happen and take it off. if tattoo if something happen then you will be stuck for ever and if you remarried to someone and you have to explain all those people all the time but why tattoo if you married other person why cover that wedding ring over your tattoo fingers????
You know what I mean wait until like 30 or 40 years of marriage then both go for it. Pls. Believe me if you going to do that you will say I shouldn't done that ever cost more money to get it removed and listen to me what I am saying NO... worth 10 points.

My sister in law did this with her husband. They didn't use rings only the tattoo. Long story short, within a year they split and she still has his name on her finger. A lovely reminder of how dumb it was.

I have 10 tattoos and that is just silly to get wedding band tattoos in my opinion

i have tattoos but i will never get a mans name on my body any where cause even 20 years down the road if u split there u go u still have his name on you

I wouldn't. I know marriage is supposed to be permanent, but forever is a long time. What if you don't stay married? Let him do it if he wants to.
I think it is a beautiful suggestion, but it would be foolish to follow through.

i wouldn't, i think it's kind of weird. besides imagine you split, explaining that to another guy. actually that my be his motivation... rings can be removed in seconds a tattoo not so easily
