China does have veto power in the Security Council, India doesn't; India was a British Colony when the Security Council was set-up.
Anyway, even ignoring the idea of reconciling democracy and veto power, we don't have to look very far to see that majorities have no voice.
In some countries women do not have the right to vote, in others people in jail, sometimes people get barred from voting because they spent time in jail, or did not vote the previous time, some people cannot vote because voting takes place on a working day, voting is restricted to people of a certain age... There are many ways of preventing people from voting.
But then again, you should ask whether that majority with no voice does try to obtain a voice; power is rarely given, it is taken.

All sheep... like "lambs to the slaughter?" You've made a definite point here... trouble is they no longer need us to wage their wars and we're all fast becoming the innocent bystanders a.k.a. "expected collateral damage." - Too bad, SO sad! And what's really pathetic, is all "the writing was on the walls," and we, collectively, have failed to act.
