REST! You're body's immune system is doing its job; it doesn't need help, just no interference. You can drink some hot teas to sooth your throat, and the vitaminC /echinacea combo is said to be a good immune system booster, but I think eating some healthy fruits and veggies should suffice. So kick back and let nature take its course. Don't try to exert yourself (i.e. take some tylenol, feel better, then run around trying to catch up w/ the things you missed) because you'll make it worse.

If it doesn't improve in a few days, or you begin to feel much worse, then by all means go to the doctor to rule out something serious. Good luck!

Yes!

Tylenol (not too much, like 1 or 2 a day should do it)

Horehound tea. I don't know if you can get this in your area, but maybe you can order it online and have it shipped to you before your cold is over with.

Also Sanicle tea.

You take the leaves from these herbs and boil them. Drain the liquid into a cup or bowl. Add honey or stevia. Warning. This is the most sour herb you have ever tasted. But its good to drink several times a day. Drink it down quick and follow up with a little juice to rid the taste. Clears congestion.

For throat, slippery elm bark tablets. Will coat your stomach first, then go to your bloodstream and eventually will coat your throat. Otherwise you can try those nasty chloroseptic sprays for your throat or some herbal cough drops preferably with vit c.

Hiya, well for the cold and bad throat you could take some lemons, and cut in half and squeeze that into some warm to hot water and gargle the warm/hot lemon water in the back of your throat for about 30 seconds or more, Do this at least 4 to 5 times a day, and you can also drink the hot lemon drinks to help you,as it boosts your immune system, also take some manuka honey +20 from health food shop to boost immune system and this will get rid of the cold much quicker, give them a try i seen them work very well

Hi! Make some strong sage tea (1tbsp/cup), let it steep, and use it as a gargle. Sage is a wonderful antiseptic. Mullein is a great decongestant, and Slippery Elm will help coat irritated tissues. Also, lots of Vitamin C. I am at WindstarHealing.com if you have any questions, or you can visit my virtual office at Kasamba.com . Good luck, and feel better!
