For your yahoo account: If you add your contacts to your address book they won't go to your bulk mail. (This has worked for me with all web mail clients I have)

I haven't tested this with outlook yet... would assume it's the same - unless it's a network filter that grabs it beofre it hits your mailbox.

Well depending on how much of your person e-mails go through, then you might have to check in it often. But if a certain peoples email are going through, then you can create filters. Depending on what email provider you use, you may need to experiment, but if you use Yahoo you can click Options and then filters, there you can can have it so it will recognize a certain name/ email address/ subject.

Depending on the program you can adjust this. In Outlook, right click on the mail in the junk folder that is not junk, and click Add sender to safe senders list. From then on when you get mail from that address it will go to your inbox like normal mail.

Depends on your mail program, you can sort all emails by sender and/or subject. You can weed out unwanted emails very easily. You can also set filters and sort the emails into different folders.

Yup, it happens. Notify your email provider of those emails as not spam. Usually, you have a way to do this.
