Got you beat. BADLY! Did over 300 khp in my boss' 64 Ferrari 275GTB on the NJ turnpike in 1971.

Then topped 320 kph on the A6 Autobahn in a Testarossa (Not stock!) in 1988. The name of the owner of THAT car will forever remain a secret; nobody would believe me if I dropped it anyway. It was a completely surreal night, I'll say that much. ;)

once you've a US motive force's license - that ought to need to allow you to to force a rented automobile in Germany and the autobahn. I did ! And in case you're delicate using on a US constrained-access highway / parkway - then using on the autobahn isn't complicated. purely stay out of the Left Lane - that is for passing in ordinary words and the fast autos bypass to the left. force on the right lanes and also attempt to be high quality. Viel spass ! (have relaxing !)
