has any one ever been fired from their job( if so what was your reaction)?

yes. i got fired over the fax. my old boss didn't have the balls to tell me face to face.

my boss was at the corp. office & called to the brach office where i was working. she told me there was an important fax coming in & i was to read it.
the fax said i was fired & "my services were no longer needed & the company & I were not a good match"

that little cowardly weasel. i still get steamed thinking aboiut it.

I was only fired from one job and I worked with mostly family (although the business was owned by someone else.) I was pregnant at the time and my mom has "episodes" and she called me a bi*** and shoved me at work one day. I called management because she was making my job impossible after that, and they came up and fired us both. I went to see lawyer, but Ohio is an at-will state so that was no help. I did get unemployment though, because they said I was unfairly terminated. I went into a bad depression after that though because I was pregnant, out of work, and no longer speaking to my family because everyone sided with my mom and blamed me for her getting fired! Things are much better now, I am civil with my mother, have a doll of a 2-year old and a wonderful job.

I have been fired from a job before; my reaction wasn't anything really, I had a feeling it was going to happen.

it really sucks though.

i was not as much as fired as laid off. I walked out...they had told me that I could stay till the end of the month. I went and got another job that day, and came back to clean off my desk.

said good bye to everyone but the persons involved with laying me off. SCREW TODAY NEWSPAPERS!

I have... through no fault of my own. It sucked. I'm still thinking of going back there and bashing a few heads open with a baseball bat. We'll see.
