All I've read here is practically sex, sex, sex. Why? Why is there some kind of pressure on us teens to grow up so fast? It's everywhere. Don't you believe in God? The shows they made" for us teens" pratically put more pressure on us:O.C., Everwood, One Tree Hill, etc. Don't get me wrong, they are great shows, if you are mature enough to watch them. I am a teen, too, and I know it's not easy. Sure, everyone wants to talk about sex, but they dont even protect themselves, even worse! There are some kids who shouldn't even be thinking about that. (So far the youngest age I heard was 10) I know, it's your time to rebel, but why must you go over the limits?

I know it's gonna be like that, but can we take a stand? It's crazy these days

it's selfish. You practically screw up your parents lives by having sex or getting pregnant at a young age

It is always going to be like that, but now days it is very bad! I would say that they are in that stage where they want to be grown, but they are not, so they rebel. Of course if you tell them not to do something 9 times outta 10 they are going to do it anyway. Kids in those age groups do not have the maturity to think about the real consequences of their words, or actions, so they speak freely of what is on their minds. I personally believe that if more parents were involoved in their childrens lives the world would be a little bit of a better place for everyone. Including the children that are on here talking about things they should not be.

Because teens are supposed to grow up, 18 + legal adult hello! Time does not stand still you must move forward , sex among young people is not new, teens are sexual beings as they are human and the human race is sexual. Teens have been having sex since the beginning of man.

A lot of people don't believe in God or believe in abstinence, that can't possibly be a news flash? Nor a news flash that teenagers have sex drives? I agree there are good reasons for most young people to wait, but to tell them they shouldn't be thinking about sex is itself childish and insulting.

They all sem to think they are missing out on some amazing secret life of adults! Hmmm I tell my son all the time- what- do u think we throw a party while your gone? Apparently he thinks we do! They feel they are missing out on life. They dont realize their whole life is still ahead of them. Peer pressure-tv and society make it hard for kids to be kids too

I agree, but I don't think it should be a religion thing.

Kids should be taught to have self respect. Taught to value their bodies. Kids learn from their parents. There is peer pressure, but I think parenting has a lot to do with it.
