I like World of Warcraft a lot better. I could never get into Everquest and it just seems like you need to struggle too much to level or anything. World of Warcraft seems to have a good balance in terms of levelling up and getting skills and such.

In my opinion, World of Warcraft is an easier game to get into for MMO newbies, and it can get you hooked rather fast. The original Everquest was rather fun, but Everquest II isn't so fun.

I haven't played Everquest, but from what I've heard, World of Warcraft is kinder to newbs. Try a hunter or a warrior to start with. They can take a lot of damage, and are fairly easy to level.

i started playing everquest and find it fun but i thik i would have to say world of warcraft is funner.

Worlds of Warcraft. I have been playing it since the servers went live plus in oct the add on for it comes out.

Warcraft is definitely more newbie friendly. It is also a heck of a lot more fun to play.
Blizzard's customer service also runs rings around Sony, because lets face it, Sony hates gamers.
