I have never put any stock into the whole 911 conspiracy, but I have read about it extensively. I believe in keeping an open mind on issues until I know the facts.
Knowledge Is Power
If you want to see the other side of the story follow the link below. It examines the conspiracy theories with a critical eye, and consults many experts in a variety of fields. In the end it shows why most of the conspiracy theory fail to pass the smell test.

Hm... more complex than that. All about oil? No.
The conspiracy of 9/11? I have looked into it and a lot of very weird things happened. For example the collapse of tower 11.
I'm still not satisfied, but here is the best article refuting 9/11 conspiracy stuff... Start there and you will waste less time researching.

Tom Clancy couldn't make any conspiracy about 9/11 fly except that is, the whole deal was orchestrated by that tall skinny Arab.
If as you allude to the whole deal with Iraq is strictly about oil. Why are the troops not paying more attention to the pipelines and refineries? Why are they wasting time rebuilding schools, water plants, and other stuff that won't flow through a pipe?
And I don't know about the world. But I'm not scared of terrorists. What are they going to do kill me? I'm more afraid of those who advocate talking terrorist to death.

I believe in a strong possibility of 9/11 being a conspiracy. Not so much that the Bush administration did it but that they knew about it and didn't say anything. But not exactly because of oil, but rather a way to bring all of America behind him so that he could consolidate power to the executive branch by saying he was the only one who could protect us and so we must give him all the power so that he could. He did pretty well with it, but not well enough and because of that he is hated by the majority of Americans now.

You got it in a nutshell. It was a conspiracy, it was mostly about oil (and gas) and secondarily about the chance to finally control the rest of the world with a constant threat of fear. It is one of the most serious and dangerous plots ever devised to take over the world, and if not hundreds of millions of people wake up soon and do something about it, the Bush gang might actually succeed and get away with it.
And by the way, "al Qaeda" is one of the black operations groups the CIA formed and trained during the 1980s, and they are still financed and controlled by Washington. And the Laden family of all people are close friends and long-standing business partners of the Bush family. Just in case you didn't know...

A conspiracy like that would take tens of thousands of people in and out of the government to pull off. There is no way it could stay a secret. It is impossible if you give it half a thought.

This is all silly and a bunch of hooey and you know it. Why you are giving any of it any mileage makes people wonder about your intelligence level. If you can't see that you are the one being manipulated by the terrorist then I don't know how to help you.

Anybody who believes differently is a buffoon and a cretin. There are many precedences in history where this has been done.
