Lord Sesshomaru seems to hate anyone not perfect like him. Remember, Inuyasha is only half dog demon/ half human, and Sesshy is pure blood dog demon.

Because he is a full demon and he thinks humans are no better than insects. He believes his father's defeat was due to his love and loyalty for a human woman . Sesshomaru hates Inuyasha for that because he thinks his father sacrificed his life for no worthy cause for a human woman and a half demon. Sesshomaru dislikes Inuyasha because he was almost defeated by a mortal. Inuyasha is half human and that makes him different. He is the ability to to be more in tune with human emotions. Sesshomaru despises the thought of his father's blood runs through the veins of a half demon. There is more to the story though....

Inuyasha is only half demon, hes got the blood of his mother in him which helps him see the better part of humans rather than sesshomaru who is a full demon. Sesshomaru hates it that his father died saving inuyasha and his mother its part of the reason he hates humans so much. But he doesnt completley hate everyone remind you he has Rin with him and he has saved her before in the past.

He doesn't hate people!! i LOVE Sesshy and if he hated people then he wouldn't of brought Rin back to life or protected her!! I'm sure it's because of his past...his mother died when he was very young and she was the only one to ever love him.... right after she died InuTashio his father took a human as a mate and hardly mourned. Thats why he doesn't like humans. If you noticed he only killed people if they didn't give him what he wanted or if he absolutley had too! SO THERE!!

well if he hate humans he would not have taken rin . he practically bring that girl alive after been eat by wolfs. do that seems like a person that hate humans.
he just don't express the way inyuasha do.

I think that he hates humans because his father forsake him because of one (Inuyasha's mother). He thinks that he (and all youkais) is better than humans, and for that reason he despises them. In the end, I don't think that he really hates humans, he is just resented.

People just are overreacting, he doesn't hate people he hates Inuyasha, and even if he did hate people it's only because he's better than them.
