The problem today is alot of people marry for the wrong reasons, and they seem to think that getting married changes alot....when the only thing that *really* changes is the womans name! Marriage take alot of compromise and most couples today think that marriages are supposed to be perfect and at the first sign of conflict they run for divorce...instead of @least trying to work it out. Another problem with todays couples is they marry and still want to play the field......NO....BAD DOG.....marriage is supposed to be between 2 people (unless you are one of those morons that swing) swingers and hound dogs should NEVER be married. A MARRIAGE IS A COMBINING OF 2 LIVES INTO 1,and this is how wedding vows read but most couples don't even listen to the vows, muchless stay true to them.
As for the second part of your ????? what does it take to honor a marriage.....if you are asking this question then you probably shouldn't be married, you are not ready to settle down if you don't know *how to honor thy marriage*. If you can keep your pants up and NOT run around bad mouthing your mate just because you are angry at the moment.....
Careful what rattles from your vocal cords, for once it parts your lips the damage is irreversable. Good Luck....Give yourself and your mate agreat big tight hug. Peace,Love&Happiness to All!

Marriage is a mystery to many people. Though it's ofter said that the divorce rate is 50%. Most people begain a marriage w/ a passion that at first seems instiable, but over time, they start to become comforatable. Today RESPECT is what is missing an one of the major componets that guarantee a marriage's shelf.

Regard- your spouse as a guest in your home instead of the traditional "old shoe."

Expect- the most from yourself, but accept your spouse as he or she is, w/out criticism.

Share- your embarrassing feelings and laugh about them together.

Protect- each other.

Experience- one untired adventure together each week.

Consider- each moment you share as a gift, not just an ordinary day.

Tell- your spouse oftern why he or she makes you proud.
