I continued to vomit with my son well into my 6th month. I lost 40 + pounds. So with pregnancy there is no normal or abnormal, it's all up to your body and how it reacts. Some women have nice easy pregnancies while other wish they could just be knocked out until after the birth!!! As long as you aren't loosing too much weight and you're not dehydrated then you are alright and so is the baby. Still talk to your doctor if you have any concerns. If you're throwing up and not keeping ANY food down, especially water. Since it is real easy to get dehydrated. Things like that. Try ginger tea to calm your stomach or Ginger beer (no its not BEER) it helps with the quzziness and to burp

Yes, I was sick and not gaining much weight with my last baby, and they finally put me on some sort of nausea pill (tiny & white) that I took every night and I never had morning sickness the rest of the time. Talk to your doctor about available medications you could take, especially if it's keeping you from work or other daily functions. If they won't give you medication for some reason, try eating some crackers in the middle of the night when you get up to go to the bathroom and keep some crackers by your bed to eat before you even try to sit up in the morning. Also, try not to drink fluids with your food, that tends to aggrivate the nausea. Hope this helps--good luck!

I was still ill when I was 40 wks pregnant. I lost 2 lbs in my last week due to that. I only gained 11lbs with a 9 lb 1.6 oz boy.

I'm 16 weeks, I suffered really badly in the first three months, but still get caught out now and again with nausea and vomitting - can be quite embarrassing!!

Don't worry about it and with any luck it'll start to fade in the next few weeks.

It's not common but it happens. Some women continue to vomit until they deliver.

I'm so sorry for you if this is happening to you. With my first child I lost twelve pounds the first couple of months and kept on being sick right up through delivery.

But... the good news is, I didn't have any morning sickness with either of my two subsequent children.

Hang in there! And talk to your doctor.

Definitely, I know women who were sick the whole way through their pregnancy.

I am 18 and half weeks and although the main symptom of all-day nausea has gone I still do feel very sick from time to time. I hate it!!

Some people have "morning sickness" the whole time they are carrying the child. I however did not, but a friend of mine threw up daily until she delivered her child. I felt so bad for her, but they say it is in your genes.
