Depends an awful lot on exactly where it hurts!

If it's painful for the guy then one of the most likely causes is an over-tight foreskin that won't roll back properly during sex. Sometimes you can treat this yourself by applying some lubricant like Vaseline and getting it working (yep... have fun!). In severe cases it may be necessary for the Doc to stretch it (while you're under aneasthetic because it *might* just hurt a little!) or even recommend circumcision.

If it hurts for the female (or if it hurts both of you) then she may be excessively tight or may need lubrication. If she's very tight apply a lot of lubrication... and take things verrrry slowly and gently... a lot of that tightness may well vanish if she realises she's not gonna get torn in half and just relaxes a bit!

the only thing i can think of other than what was already stated is are you having hetero sex or homo sex? if its the second, then u need to widen ur sphincter some more. the first, go see a urologist.
