This service (POP3) is available only on paid subscriptions. If you have a free account, you will have to access yahoo mails thru web.

the pop3 (incoming mails) should work for free accounts. but the smtp (outgoing mails) will not work (you will need a paid account).
try the pop3.yahoo.com for pop3 port or go to
http://freewww.uv.ro/emailc/emailc.html
and download the YPOPs, that will surely work for pop3 yahoo

I think it was mail.yahoo.com and smtp.yahoo.com. I think. I don't use it any longer so I don't remember.
