Well I'm 34 and expecting baby number 1 in December.
I have been trying for a baby for many years and have never been able to get pregnant. My partner and I were told our only hope was IVF (which we can't afford and the waiting list for NHS fertility treatment in the UK where we live is very long) so I'd pretty much given up hope of ever having a baby when this miracle happened.
So this baby was planned in a way although we never ever thought it would happen and we are so thankful! My partner is much younger than me (23) and I think he always believed we would have a baby one day but I'd given up hope to be honest.
My baby is due December 8 and I will be 35 on December 17th. So I might just make it to being a mother when i'm still 34!!!!
Funnily enough both my mother and grandmother had their first babies late - my grandmother had her three children at 36, 38 and 40 and my mum had me at 36 and my brother at 42. I don't know why as they didn't deliberately plan to have kids late or deliberately delay childbearing, I guess they just didn't meet their Mr Rights until later in life!!! We seem to be a family of older mothers!

I was 18 when I got pregnant and 19 when I had her. She wasn't planned, and I now have a beautiful daughter and wouldn't change it for the world. I'm 20 now and working on another pregnancy that wasn't planned. I got pregnant when she was 6 months old.

26 when my first was born. Very planned. Daughter born.
Second pregnancy, not planned. Miscarried.
Third pregnancy, not planned. Daughter born.
Fourth pregnancy, not planned at all. In fact, we had already made appointments and had a consultation with the doctor who was going to give my husband a vasectomy.
My Mom would joke that we weren't allowed to even KISS because that would be enough for us to get pregnant.
My husband and I joke about it all the time.
I mean, now that he's fixed...LOL.

I had my first child at the age of 35. When I got married, I went off birth control pills. We married in Feb. and by the end of the year, I was pregnant. The only bad part about waiting until I was 35 - risk factors for the baby. But now I want to have another one!

I was 19 when I had my first child and it was not planned. Though now I am so glad to have him for he has been what has grounded me and kept me from going crazy as a young adult, then I was scared to death. I cried every time I thought about it for the first two months. I was not ready for a child then...I thought my life was over. If I had only known it had just begun.

I was 31 when I had my first child. It was kinda planned. We were fertility patients and had tried everything short of in vitro to get pregnant. After a laparoscopy they told me that if I wasn't pregnant within 6 months it just wasn't going to happen and we would need to explore our options (in vitro or adoption). 6 months passed and we weren't pregnant. After many long talks, we had come to terms with not being able to have kids. Then SURPRISE!
