Yes, we hunted snipes all the time on the beaches in California, there are a lot of them there..... The best time to catch them are at night, when they come out of the sand..They are hard to catch because they are so fast. You can go for days without catching one..They like the fire, so it is best to start a fire. I haven't gone snipe hunting for years, but I loved it when I was younger...Brings back memories. Oh I forgot, you need a net and a flashlight.

Yes in IL there is a wood duck called a snipe. We hunt them and they are tasty. Sorry if you have not found the elusive snipe tho. They are hard to catch. Keep trying.

My friends used to send me snipe hunting all the time. I have never seen one either. I'm glad it isn't just me.

Snipes do not exist it is way to make you look stupid and undermine peoples view of you. See look how stupid so and so is and then that other person in mutual hatred or weak mindedness agrees and threw hatred these people now have something in common.

No but when I was 5 my mother swears she saw one while we were camping and were on a snipe hunt. Thanks for the memory!
