when you get your results, go to the drug store and buy on of those Hallmark cards for expecting parents and put it on his pillow or in his car or at his place at the table . . .

Wow, congradulations. Well, after your doctor confirms it. I think the best way to suprise your husband is send him on a scavenger hunt of some kind leading clues to or about having a baby. Or send him a bouqet of baby stuff or cookies that says your going to be a dad again. Or something to that affect. Maybe get your family and as well as his to help you. Or maybe get a shirt for your son and put on it Guess what daddy? I am going to be a big brother or something like that. I hope whatever you do your husband will appreciate it and be sooo suprised. Good luck. And again congrats.

Looks like everyone has heard of all the different ways to surprise the husband with the news of a new baby!
Congratulations! I'm so happy for you both (I should say all four of you now!).
I did the nice dinner out and my mom watched our son. I had her change him into a nightshirt that said on the back (back then we laid the children on their stomachs!) "SURPRISE!!! I'm going to be a big brother soon". When we came home from dinner we went in to check on our son and there was the message. He couldn't believe it and was very happy.
With my first one, I ordered a bouquet of blue and pink flowers to be delivered to his office with a card saying, "congratulations, you're going to be a daddy!" He thought they were for someone else and was shocked they were for him (we did not really "plan" that one).
Good luck and I'm sure anyway you tell him, he'll be thrilled!
Best Wishes!

I once saw this on a show and thought it was so cute. The mom made a t-shirt for their older son that said "Big Brother coming 2004". She put it on him and had him greet daddy at the door when he came home from work.
I found out I was pregnant with #2 when I went in for some labs for a minor medical proceedure. When I got home I told my husband that they had rescheduled my proceedure to July 2004 (it was Sept 2003). Why so long? he asked. I then told him we were pregnant again. A big surprise!
Congrats!

When is his birthday?
I know this might not work for you, but it happened to work for me.
I just found out I was pregnant in late May. My husband's birthday was July 1st, so I waited until his birthday to tell him.
I bought him a "Daddy-to-be" tee shirt, and wrapped it up as a birthday present.
It was PERFECT. When he opened it, it didn't register at first, and then he looked at me...and finally got it. He actually cried, because he had wanted children as soon as we had gotten married, but I didn't, not that soon...so we waited for nearly two years. It was indeed a surprise.
I hope this helps. =) Congratulations!

Congratulations!!! This is what I did to tell my hubby. I bought a "Baby on Board" sign. Threaded some string through the hole and wrapped it around my waist hidden under my pants. Then I went downstairs to where he was and told him I had something to show him. So, I started unbuttoning my pants (he was getting excited, he thought I'd bought new lingerie) and lifted my shirt a bit to reveal the "Baby on Board" sign on my tummy! it took him a couple of seconds to figure it out! :)

Have a nice dinner and put a rattle on his plate or under his napkin. You could also put the pregnancy test there too. You might want a spare plate though if you do that.

I saw this commercial once where the woman put a baby seat in the back seat of the car to surprise him. That was cool!

I wrapped up a baby name book for our second child and attached a note that says "I chose the first you can pick the second" It took him a minute to figure it out, but he got it.
