I got an expansion set with my Diablo II game. What is the CD for?

The Expansion is for more addons to the game, new characters to choose from and more spells and such, it is very benefitial, thats why it came with the Diablo 2 game, its the expansion to the game.

2 new characters
a new very large act with 2 movies
many more new items

Also, don't forget to download the latest patch, v1.11b from Blizzard's homepage. The skills changed a lot since 1.00.

you know how you go to the trade and go to east and move to the next land it add more lands and also chracters.
