Sure, try it. If you rent tons of movies, be sure to go for the more expensive "three at once" deal instead of the cheaper "one at a time" deal. If you go one at a time, after the trial period they will slooow down on sending you dvd's if you keep sending them back too fast. They don't want to lose money on shipping that is more expensive than your membership fee.

I like it - I've been using Netflix for about a year and a half. I'm on the plan that's let you have 3 movies at a time. Where I live, it only takes one day for the movies to get to me, so the turn-around time is pretty good. So I'm usually getting about 5 movies a week for $18 per month. You can add multiple (I think up to 500) movies to your queue, so as soon as one movie is returned, your next movie will ship. You can also delete or re-order your queue. If you watch a lot of movies, I recommend doing a trial membership. There's no contract, so you can always cancel if you don't like it. My friend uses the Blockbuster Online service and she likes it, too.

Definately go for it. I have yet to be disappointed. I get the 3 at a time option, which costs about 19 dollars. Out of a year and a half of service I've only had 2 damaged discs that couldn't play. You just send them back and get another copy or a different movie. The are tons of titles to choose from, I have a queue that is currently around 300 movies long. After sending a movie back I usually get one back around 2 business days later.
(On a sidenote, if you have a dvd burner, lets just say Netflix can do wonders for expanding your dvd collection and saving you money.)

Netflix is worth it if you rent a lot of movies, as you mentioned. I've also found it's great for getting less mainstream stuff. I watch a lot of anime and I get lots of DVD's of tv shows, which is why I think Netflix is worth the price. If you rented these in the store, you'd have to pay $5 per movie. For a whole TV show, that really racks up a lot of cash. Better to go netflix.

NETFLIX IS AWESOME!!!!!!!! I've had it for a while now and I'm on the 3 DVDs at a time deal and it's abot $19 a month. I pretty much watch about 12 or more movies a month depending on how fast I get them back. Netflix rocks, Try it.

We tried netflix, but I didn't like it. First of all, my husband picked all the movies. Then he would watch them and send them back before I even had a chance to watch them, the ******. So the movies were either coming or going and I never saw any of them. If you can be in complete control of selection and viewing, it would probably work... my husband seemed to enjoy it.

LOVE Netflix. I do the one at a time option -- and it is super quick in between movies. at most I have a two day wait between when i stick it in the mailbox and when I get one back -- but I think I would opt to get more at a time -- cause especially over weekends it is a pain to wait.

YES, if you rent a lot of movies. You pay $19.99 (?) a month, and then you get three movies at a time. Once you finish one movie, send it back (in a pre-paid envolope) and you'll get another within two business days. It's terrific!

I have it. it isn't really that much cheaper. yeah they ship you your movie(s) fast, but it takes about 3 days for them to get them. 4 days if you pass a Sunday. so after you put them back in the mail, you probably wont get the next one(s) until maybe 4 days later. but they do have a good selection. many you couldn't find elsewhere. and they usually aren't scratched.
