Tape your band rehearsals, and check out your performance, to make sure that it is good. If you know that your performance is good, it is easy to perform it. If you don't believe in your stuff, your audience won't either.

I had the same problem before. You should first call about 7-10 friends and some strangers to play them. When they see how a great player you are, your confidence will (maybe not consciously) raise. Then, you will be able to play infront of 20 people and so far on.You will see, when they applaud you,you will feel like an real musician.Just try to loosen up a little bit and remember that it is just for the fun and your personal pleasure.Eventually, this problem will desapeare.Good luck,I'm sorry I can't hear you. Rock on!

I also used to play a clarinet and played on stage. All I did was just practice a lot so I won't look bad on stage. Don't worry, once you're on stage you won't be scared anymore. You'll actually have a good time. Trust me. (Tip: I also heard that you can also imagine the audience in underwear but I don't recommend it lol:))

go up there and perform for just a couple of friends first cuz they'll be there to boost your confidence unless they're real jerks. but if not then start including more & more ppl in your audience, anyone you can find really. w/each person that goes to see ya, you should be more determined to impress all of them and so the best of your ability should be brought out

You've got the WORST taste in music and would have the WORST taste in entertainment if you liked talentless reality shows! Listen to good music like ICP!

perform for family and friends first. And ask them to tell you what they thought of you. Then while you're preforming, record yourself and see if what they say is accurate. And always remember, people dont expect you to be exactly like the person who did it originally (if its a cover) (if its an original they dont expect it to be great), and if they do, thier idiots.
