Does anyone think we should try to trade for another starter since Clement, Jason Johnson, and the guy from the Royals have not worked out.

Pauley got sent back down after his two outstanding starts because the Red Sox did not want to burn him out after he jumbed from AA to the majors. However, he really is our best fifth option at this point.

Hey I'd start with Beckett then Lester then Schilling, to save his arm for the playoffs then Wakefield then Pauley but I'd say that u might wanna pick up a guy like a Oliver Perez a Kip Wells or a Levan Hernandez as insurence for Pauley and package Wells Clement and/or Johnson in some way.

Thats my opinon,

I like the rotation as you have posted it. Clement, even if he gets off the DL, has been a huge disappointment for the Sox. Jason Johnson, as anyone who follows baseball knows, is and was a second rate pitcher. Whatever they were thinking of when they took him off waivers, I just can't figure out. Also, I think it would be a HUGE mistake to move Papelbon into the starting rotation now or even next year. Why fool with success? He is the youngest and best closer in baseball.

Go Red Sox!!

I have not seen Pauley in a while whare has he been?I think you are on it with the rotation though, Schilling, Lester and Beckett have had a solid year, especially at Fenway.
