a friends left eye keeps twitching? what do u think is causing this?

Probably stress or a nervous twitch.
Could be mild muscle spasms in the cheek.

Get it checked out though because you can never be too careful with your eyes

It depends upon whether the twitch is permanent or whether it occurred temporarily and then disappeared. I think that a lot of people have experienced this when they have been stressed, perhaps during or after an argument with someone. You don't say whether your friend is male or female, perhaps you are making your friend nervous. Do you argue? nervous ticks often occur in the region of the eye, because the nerves there are very sensitive. Do they show any other signs of being uptight?

I had that for about 6 months after both my Grandparents passed away. It's probably stress but if it continues and you friend is worried either see an optician or the doctor.

The eye twitching is due to muscular (cilliary ) spasims ie involuntary contractions of these muscles.

it sounds like this mate is nervous...! is it only around you...has any other mates seen it?
if it's a round all of you, she mabe suffering from anxity or if its just around you....then she has some thing to hide from u.
i no about the twitchy eye...coz i get it, all the time, but that coz i suffer from anxity attacks.
