What is your opinion of Sylvia Browne the psychic? Hoax or Helpful?

erm... in my opinion psychic = hoax, I shouldn't really have to look. If real psychics do exist, then why does no one really hear about them more?
I watched a show once where there was this guy who had never acted as a psychic before, (they basically just pulled him in off the street) and "taught" him how to act like a psychic. He read like 4 people's futures and then the people got interviewed and they were all really impressed! Just shows you how easy it is to act like one and not be one.

Sylvia Browne's Guides were wrong about Al Gore getting in the White House. But she did say something once on a talk show that I have found to be insightful: that only 30% of those on the Other Side are devoted to The Light. This is probably overstating it. As with most people on This Side, most on the Other Side are also of common spirituality.
There are many psychics, intuitives, and mediums out there who charge less than Sylvia Browne and her organization does and are just as accurate, if not more so. I suggest doing some investigation and also getting a referral.
Also, keep in mind that psychics, mediums and channelers are essentially human telephones. Sometimes, through no fault of their own, they get a "bad call." I have had this happen to me a number of times with some people I have gone to over the years.
Other times I have gotten a short and/or spontaneous reading from someone that was quite accurate. Don't judge all psychics and mediums by one or two readings. The wise approach is to go to a number of them over a period of weeks or months in order to get a consensus answer to the important issues you are addressing.

All you have to do is read her books and attend her lectures and you will see why she is the most widely known true psychic in the world! As for "teaching someone to be a psychic", yest - it can be done because we all have the ability within us, but it's not by any means "easy". It takes a true heart who can connect to Source and develop the innate ability to communicate with the other side. Begin by studying quantam physics and read every Sylvia Browne book you can get your hands on and you will understand. We are all made of energy and the Other Side exists right here with us, only about 3 feet higher off the ground than we are. Explore and gain knowledge. Learn to vibrate at a higher level of consciousness and expand your mind!

Maybe Sylvia started out genuine. But she was or she choose to be corrupted by money. You have to realize that what she is and what she does is what anyone else is capable of. Maybe you won't talk to dead people and pull answers for grieving parents from the devine, but you could know what she knows. You could see, feel, understand human potential. Soul potential. Or whatever we are. Heck of an idea. Screw Sylvia. Grab an ounce, papers and scissors and go sit on a mountain, or in the bush. Why weed? It opens your mind. Disagree? Then you need to open your mind.

I believe that she's a hoax. All you have to do is look at all her predictions that haven't come true to know that. And she also said, publically, "If Michael Jackson isn't found guilty I'll quit being a psychic." Enough said.
