Have you ever a had a yellow-greenish vaginal discharge?
Do you know any treatment or ointment I could get without visiting the doctor? or maybe a home remedy that works?
I am married and I didn't sleep with anyone else so it can't be a sexually transmited disease.
maybe you can tell me the name of a cream I could by over the counter?
Please help.
Thanks

Unless you have a medical degree and a laboratory to test it, you don't know what you have.

Please go to the doctor.

Yellow -Greenish color doesnt sound like a normal yeast infection that can be treated with a home remedy. Then again I am not an expert. All I can say is that I did some research and it seems to be Trichomonas (foamy, yellow-green foul-smelling discharge) ! Which is an infection known as vaginitis or inflamation of the vagina.

Vaginitis: Vaginitis is a general term that means "vaginal inflammation." Vaginal discharge and genital itching are the symptoms of vaginitis. Vaginitis may occur because of chemical irritation (e.g. excessive douching, or excessive use of over the counter yeast medication) or vaginitis may have an infectious cause.

Taken from http://www.selfcare.info/hc1/adult/GenitalorUrinarySymptoms/VaginalDischarge.htm.
The three main infectious types of vaginitis are:
Candidiasis (thick, white, cottage cheese-like, non-odorous discharge)
Trichomonas (foamy, yellow-green foul-smelling discharge)
Bacterial vaginosis (white-gray discharge, fishy odor).

If you are having a greenish discharge, there is a infection in you somewhere. I highly recommend you go see your gynecologist for that one. Log how many times this has happened and how long it lasts. Take this log with you when you see your doctor. You could have some underlying physical condition you are not aware of. You don't want to mess around with over the counter stuff with this! Go make an appointment with your doctor today! It is always best to be safe than sorry!
Good luck to you and I hope you feel better soon!

Could be a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. One requires an antibiotic and the other requires an over-the-counter cream. Two different thing and if you treat it "wrong" it will make it worse. Could also be an STD, which means your hubby's been running around. Your doctor is the only one who will be able to tell you definitely.

Girl you need to go the doctor ASAP. Only thing that can be treated over the counter is Monistat and Vagistat...Monistat is for a white cottage cheese like discharge and Vagistat is for itching. Don't want to scare you but it sounds like you have an STD; go get tested and I hope all will be well.
