I was wondering because I have always been told that is against my religion to believe in such things.

Astrology has nothing to do with religion.

Astrology is not a religion, it is the study of planetary motion and the correlation of those to our life here on Earth. Belief is a word that means a feeling that something exists or is true, especially one without proof - it does not relate to the study of astrology, therefore I don't believe in astrology.

Yes, any belief system or way of life is a religion. Horoscopes origninated in ancient Babylon. Do research on it and you will find it-even in something as basic as an encyclopedia. The interesting thing is that the stars are in a little different position since then, so even if it were dependable (which I believe it is not), everyone's sign is one off in the zodiac, which most people don't know.

No. They are part of a superstitious belief that the changing gravitational pull of heavenly bodies as they move through the sky affects our lives.
Most people think that it's just fun, though, like reading fortune cookies.

No because man can never tell man his/her destiny only God can do that and He does not do that through horoscopes He does it through His word,prayer and the Holy Spirit

there just for fun. there's no way millions of people can have the exact same thing happen to them on the exact same day just because they were born at on a certain date!
