First, is there a difference between any of the three?
And second, how can anyone enjoy being in black all the time??? Black clothes, black makeup (even for the guys, which is really wrong in my opinion), wacko haridos... I'm sorry to judge, and I know it can be a way for people to feel they're not alone, but still... what could be so reassuring and fun about living in a world of such dark and... vulagrity? I don't mean to cause anger, thinking that I'm insulting anyone from these groups, I'm just very confused about it.... and what about those people who cut themselves??? Is that really the only way they can let out anger and pain? Can't they just have a good cry and punch a pillow if needed or something??? A lot better than what certain others do... anyway, please don't answer with disrespect as I have said nothing of the sort and thank you for reading! Only real answers please. Thanks.

Yes there is a difference. Punk is they don't care what people think, to a point, they are into skateboards, and they are mature in the mind even if they don't show it. Black is just a popular color cause that is normally the background of a bands shirt. Emo stands for emotion kid or adult. They are the ones that cut (you cant truly understand why they cut even if they did explain it to you all I can tell you is that is their punching a pillow anyway) and they don't flaunt it but every one knows, they do as they please and say what they want no matter what happens. They are not crazy or weird like what some people think. I actually have some friends that are emo. And finally there are two kinds of Gothics. There are the real ones that worship the devil, believe in wickens(witch's that are more or less into the herbal stuff), and yes do wear nothing but black. The other kind of Gothic is the ones that dress, think and do everything like the real ones only they don't worship the devil. However, neight one of the Gothics are numb to life they just don't care so they seem dull in their emotions sometimes. And for the second question, since I guess you could call me punk, I like to wear black cause . . . . . . . its comfortable, its a color that I like, and it may not make a lot of sense to you but when I wear black it makes me feel like there is this huge blanket wrapped around me, making me feel like nothing too bad can happen. I feel connected to the color. Like, how some people like certain colors over another. However, even though I just explain to you all this, they are no different then any one else. No one is the same and that just makes the world more colorful. You cant put a label or status on them just their personally if you have to label them at all.

Variety is the spice of life . It would be a boring world if we all dressed and thought the same , wouldn't it ? My son is into all the above , and he changes his style when the mood changes him . He is 15 going on 16 and has never been in trouble with the law , doesn't smoke , drink , or do drugs . All his friends I know and they are the nicest bunch . These kids are so creative and some of them are such introverts that this is the only way they can and want to be . Of course they are young and being young is a learning experience . I lived and remembered the hippy scene and not once was I ever treated nicely by my fellow class mates . Now as an adult they all come to me for advice ! On their kids . (LOL) You are being hateful , you just don't under stand them . Talk to some of them and maybe you'll learn to accept their ways , . remember bigotry is an ugly thing ., and comes in all shapes sizes , colors and styles ...

maybe they wonder how come you wear brite clothing
there are bilions of people out there and they do not all think the same way as you
just watch a lifetime movie about cuttin or pick up a book to see the other side of things
sometimes emos just cant get any other attention so they do what they know what to do and thats to cause emotions and hurt themselves and others
the punk kids are awesome..they know how to have a good time and dont give a F*** bout some things so they stay away from it and leave everybody else alone, its eveyone else that ***** with them and i personally love the punks
i also love the goths not all of em are depressed evil wiccas people believe em to be they are sweet and just dont like the color they prefer to think they way they choose and have strong opinions about a lot of different things i love everybody
i also love the preps, ganstas, nerds, not so much the jocks they tend to be too cocky, but i love the different sexualities i love everyone im no hippie though i just get along with people

lol. I agree with you. But ya there are differences between them. Punk people dont wear just black. Its just a popular color. They also wear a lot of different colors. It just depends on what band is on the shirt etc. Goths are people who sometimes devil worshippers or believe in some other god period. Emo (No offense) is kind of like a dumb knockoff of goth. I mean Emo kids cut themselves because they are supposibly "depressed" when half of them are living a great life. I dont think goth is around much more because people are confusing them with emo. Emo people listen to bands like Hawthorne Hights, Fall out boy, and My chemical Romance. Personally I dont like emo people because the cutting part just seems pointless. The summer after i left junior high one of my friends was cutting herself a lot and it got to the point where me and like 50 other people had to talk to her like an intervention.

what goth actually is, is victorian vampirish clothes and makeup. people who were all black technically arent goth. emo is being extremely emotional and punk is pretty muck just rocker.
People who wear black all the time because they feel comfortable, just like other people have color preferences. Not trying to sound disrespectful if i come across that way ^.^ i hope i answered your questions a little

People do enjoy being gothic because they can do it every day. They are the type of people that are perfectly happy being perfectly miserable.

How can anyone like the hip hop style. Its fake, unoriginal, and generic. You walk around a mall, or a club, it looks like the NBA or NFL All-Star team.
