As elections in the USA are largely bought, whichever candidate that can raise the most funds by promising their allegiance to big business will be put forward by their party, and the most corrupt candidate from the two parties will have raised the most funds, and will produce the biggest campaign to discredit his opponent, and will be elected president.

A government of the people, by the people, and for the people, I think not.

God help America

No. The media is all owned by rich Republicans and slants everything in favor of Republicans. The courts are filled with crooks who think its OK to steal elections for guys like President Bush. The company that makes voting machines is owned by a rich Republican who promissed to deliver Ohio for Bush and he did. Democratic precincts did not get enough voting machines, Democrats had to stand in line in the snow for hours to vote, while Republicans had machines to spare and didn't have to wait at all. The system is crooked, its meant to keep looters in power. Democracy was a nice idea, it would be nice to actually try it sometime.

not anymore...it seems we are now running on the principle of "the squeeky wheel gets the grease"....those who complain the loudest and longest get the press and the sympathy....those who mind their business and do whats expected of them as adults have to suffer in silence....
