ter·ror·ism n.
The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.
- The American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition (2000)

Nope. Not at all. I'm not condoning the act, but it was an agressive outlet of frustration in a sporting match. You know, a sporting match, where men (in this case) compete at a high level, and deal with constant physical abuse? You should be able to hold your temper if you're a classy athlete, but let's not lessen the impact of words that have true gravitas.

A terroist act it was not.

i think you maybe a little biased when you ask that question.Zidane doesnt play for a terrorist country you idiot. But having said that that was worst possible reaction that he could have given.Remember zidane has a history of losing his cool...he has done this before.... he probably lost france that game. They dominated the 2nd half and italians looked dead in OT...what a pity...remember the italians were not supposed to be there in the first place...they were down to 10 men against australia and then grosso dived to recieve a penalty...anyway it is italy who are World champions... and judging by the scandal and pessotto trying to kill himself they probably needed this!

No.. cos I didn't know terrorist use their head for terrorist attack.
If that is so, lesser people would have died in terrorist attack.
See Materizza is still happily celebrating their victory back home.

** Anyone could have done that.. Figo did that too.. Terrorist act? I dn't think so.. Both are great man ! great footballer !

SENSIBLE ANSWER TO A SENSIBLE QUESTION..
Materazzi asked for a nice headbutt from zidane,
maybe his aim was making zidane get a redcard,
and he successed..
But terrorism is a completely different manner and doesnt include loose of temper, you have got to be planning what you want to do...
