leave it you could make a scar. But if you just can't leave it alone heat a needle and poke it to drain the fluid don't tear the skin

This may sound stupid but as a child i was prone to getting blisters from working in the garden with my grandmother. Well she always told me that it would be best to pop them after the sun went down so that there wouldnt be any pain.
Im not sure if it was a phsycological thing or what but it worked for me then and works for me and my children now. You just have to keep them clean so that they dont get infected after being opened. A blister is mostly fluid under the skin, so why keep it there to turn into an ugly caluse? Skin repairs itself with a tiny opening that doesnt leave a caluse to irretate girls when you put your hand on the arm or shoulder. Then again, some girls like the rough feeling of a mans hand.
The choice is really yours. Have fun.

Use something sharp and pointy to poke a little hole in it and let the fluid out, but do not tear the skin off. This will reduce the pressure and still keep it covered from the air, so it should not hurt any, and will heal quickly. You may need to release fluid from it several times, but this is the best way to go. I do this and my blisters never hurt and they heal quickly

Leave it alone, it will heal itself. If it breaks ahead of time & raws skin is exposed, cover with a band-aid. Get some Lanacane, it stops burn pain & whether or not it was caused by a burn, there might be some pain to it if the tender skin beneath is exposed. Lanacane spray is great to have around in the summer time.

wear gloves next time, if you did wear gloves, wear tighter ones because your skin was rubbing a lot (like when your shoe is loose and it rubs the back of your foot and you get that annoying blister) And you should just leave it alone, you can pop it but it could get infected, and if you baby it then sometimes it takes longer for it to go away.

DO NOT break the blister. You run the risk of infection. If it opens on it's own, trim away the excess skin and cover it with a bandaid.

Let is be, just be nice to it and put some lotion on it daily. Blisters from work tend to happen from friction, blisters from the sun are from burning. Work blisters can be a bit harder (firmer). Blisters from the sun tend to pop on their own.

It depends, what's the objective?

Objective: Open festering sore ... monkey with it as much as possible, pop it, rub it in sewage.

Objective: quick recovery .... cover it, don't open it leave it alone.

I heard you should leave it alone and it will go down by itself. You could risk infection by popping it because bacteria could get in.
