I know what you mean. All kinds of racism goes on over here in England. You cannot turn on the news without hearing about a black or Asian person being beaten up or killed, in what is supposedly a racist attack. I am also shocked when talking to friends and suddenly they'll chip in with some random throwaway racist comment. Unfortunately, just because blacks and Asians are a minority, it doesn't mean that this is all one sided. Racism goes the other way too. Unfortunately I don't think that anything can be done about this. It's with us to stay, and until the minorities can live with the majorities in peace then this discusting situation will never be dealt with.

Sports is for everybody, and everybody deserves fair play and everybody deserves to have a chance to play.

So what if some people are racists, we should try our best not to mind them, they are in the wrong because they do something that offends others and is not sporting. You shouldn't be like that.

You don't have to prove to them that you are good. There are people that are not racists that support true sporting spirit, tell them that you are worthy of playing and they'll be your audience. There are more people that don't support racism than those that really do. And, if someone imitates a monkey, then they probably want to become one too.

And erm, I mean no offense to monkeys, I like monkeys. It's just that, if the people want to say something and they use monkey-way to say it, then they are probably what they are trying to say.

Why are they sometimes called monkeys? Well, it is because there are SOME racist people out there. However, these people cover every race, culture, and nationality. Blacks are not the only people having racist comments made against them.

you are very right iam African living in Spain, and its true they call Etoo a monkey, and they make those gorrila noises when he is playing, when the sports minister was asked he said that racism will always be there and talking about it will make it worse.
well i will tell you something as an african living in spain, spanish pple are ignorants and savages, and by the way spain is a second world country, but the spanish themselves think they are first world country coz they are in europe, but not all eurpe is a first world country. spanish still see blacks as monkeys and they hate black pplein general, i think all these has been made worse by those senegalese who cross with those small boats acrros the sea to spain so in the end the spanish lost respect for us.
as for us having our own fifa or world cup, it wont work,
