the screams are the most important for me. i would never do something that brought pain if i didnt find a necessity for it, and they say it isnt cleaner to have it done.. it actually exposes the head to infection. That was what the foreskin is for.. to close the opening and protect the inside.. and beyond that, like i said with your other question.. i think it desensitises the penis.. why would you want that?

When I had my son, I felt it was my duty as his mother to be with him during the procedure. I gave birth to him and should be there to suffer with him. He was less than 24 hours old. It was one of the most painful things I have ever done. Yes, as soon as he was strapped down he was screaming. I cried. I turned gray, according to the nurse in the room. The Dr was kind of an a$$hole, too, which I did not appreciate, but he did, after all have my screaming baby in his face and had to cut the poor little guy. But, my grandfather insisted, "Do it while he's new and won't remember, because it hurts like hell when you're 25!" He knew!
My son, now 14, recently assured me, he doesn't have any recollection and can't think of himself in any different way.
My husband assures me, he feels everything he needs to, just fine and I concur :)
So yes, it does pain a mother but, I think I would not have done it any other way. I felt bad having it done, but I felt better that the Dr gave him to me right away and I was able to comfort him and reassure him that this would never happen again. Further, he has never had an infection or any of the problems our grandfathers had as young boys and men. It hurts, but is worth it later.
Now, quit worrying about it. It does seem like you might be a little mad about something.

some Muslims evaluate it a religious necessity - circumcision is written about contained in the Hadith as being mandatory for Muslim boys. in spite of the indisputable fact that, others say that the Hadith ought to no longer be considered canonical, and the Qu'ran is the only non secular textual content that Muslims pick to persist with. The Qu'ran does no longer element out circumcision, therefore circumcision isn't required for Muslims. added, many argue that it truly is boastful for adult males to anticipate that they could improve on the penis designed by technique of Allah. in my view i'm an atheist and do not evaluate both the Hadith or the Qu'ran to be classes to how I ought to stay my existence. which isn't to assert that there is no longer some thing functional in them - there actual is, and also contained in the Bible, the Tanakh, Guru Granth Sahib and different holy books too - yet i do not evaluate them to be texts i ought to stay my entire existence by technique of. even as i have no longer some thing adverse to circumcision, I evaluate it cruel to rigidity it upon unwilling toddlers. If Allah did pick you to sacrifice your foreskin, actual it may well be a better significant sacrifice in case you chosen to do it your self, as an adult, quite than having the alternative made by technique of your mum and dad before you've been attentive to it.

I think somebody is a little behind the times. Circumcisions are painless now that they use aneasthesia. I was with both my sons when they were circumcised....no tears.

Furthermore, are a lot of good reasons for men to be circumcised! Health, hygiene and sex.

Lots of love,

It is very important!! They scream because it is very painful and they do not know how to control the pain. So we as the parents or adults have to take notice of their screams.

both of my sons didn't make a sound, they slept right through it. i personally think it is healthier and easier to take care of. for both of my sons i had the plastibell cercumsision done. there are no bandages to change and it heals sort of like the umbilical cord stump. it just falls off within 3 - 5 weeks. below is a link to this procedure. i had no problems with it and my boys suffered no side effects or infections. plus, my husband considers it a family thing and we are currently converting to jewdaism (sorry if that is the wrong spelling).

You won't be able to even hear him if he does scream, he'll be crabby when they bring him back...it only takes a few minutes. They gave my son an injection down in that area to numb it....he was fine after about a half hour.

First of all- why are you so obsessed with circumcisions?
Second- both my boys did fine and didn't even cry when they were circumcised. My first son slept through it.
How do you know how it feels to them? That is why they get it done when they are born and not when they are older.

It only lasts a minute & he won't remember. Anyway, getting his shots will lead to a lot more screaming than having his tiny turtle snipped.

It is a barbarian tradition, again supported by some fanaticism into an old religion. These people are sick and should not be refered as teachers. Turn your back and walk away!
