I mean, it DID do $88 million in domestic box office so there had to be some people who liked it. And come on, that boat was cool.

Yes, I can't help it, I love movies with lots of action. I also liked the Postman.

I never claimed to have good taste, however.

It cost 88 million to make....it was a huge disaster....the plot was idiotic....and everyone looked ridiculous........Now, that being said, I still like Costner in all his westerns. He has made some classic movies. But, Waterworld and The Postman were huge disasters.

I loved the movie especially the part when you see the wrecked city under water and I thought his boat is pretty cool too.

I have watched this film a few times and each time it thrills me.The reality it portrays with the advancing Global warming sends a shudder down my spine. How long before science fiction becomes science fact?
The underwater scenes are staggering.
A truly great film.

WW is the only film that I have walked out on - after paying good money for a friggin balconey ticket. Tho i got the ticks by accident. Rmbr that dumb *** joke, when one of them pirate baddies says' "keep an eye out for...' and he takes his eye out.
Does WW still niggle you...coz it sure as hell is one of those unexplained films you ask of, "why did they bother". Should have kept my eyel out of that hall.

Think the 88m was spent by curious fans which he (forgot his name) that he did have then...The film was...Untouchable...and he was the Pimp of Thieves for robbin our money.
