University of Phoenix...although rather expensive, the school is accredited and known nationally, so if you ever take a job in another state, the employer will know the school that you attended. For instance, Baker and Walsh College are known locally in MI...an employer outside of MI will have no clue about the school and it's performance.

I do not know the best but I do know of one you want to be very careful of. That is Axia college --University of Phoenix. From what has happened to both my husband and son be very very very careful. Both of them have been lied to over and over again. One of my sons instructors has gone agasinst the main syllabus to the point that she was failing him out. He turned all the complaints over to the student advocate for him and then she took a vengence out on him.. My best advice after this experience is to go the BBb and check out the colleges then talk to a couple of them and decide from there. The BBB has reports of 137 complaints on the online of Phoenix in just the last 12 months. In the last 36 months it is over 300. The guys then checked out West Wood coolege, Online and they had something like 3 complaints in the last 12 and maybe 14 in the last 36 months, all of which have been succesfully resolved. Put the BBB to work for you they are there to help and are independent. Good Luck
After reading other posts that have suggested the very college I am warning about I decided to give a little more info. Axia-Phoenix online has only been around scince 1998 Many other have been around longer with better reputations. The only reason that Phoenix is so well known is that they spend buckoo bucks on advertising. Just because they spend more money on advertising puts them in the spotlight more that does not make them better just more expensive. They also teach a writing style that is also used only at that college a writer of 20 yeatrs is having a ver hard time understanding it and struggling, why learn it when the only place it is used is there. My husband will by changing colleges as soon as the first block is over he is just trying to get through and seriously considering West wood as it checks out alot better.

Don't use university of phoenix. The neglect to tell you all the info until you give them money, if you are transferring credits you have to pay different amounts for each semester.
