make my day." Do you agree with these words? Can man live by happy meal alone at Walden's Pond, or does one need a Starbucks near by?

Honestly Mr. Enzyme, my tastes are much more refined than that. Surely there had to a Burger King in the neighborhood, or at the very least a KFC. To suggest a 'happy meal' insults my sense of good taste. I don't believe there were any Starbucks near by either, only Dunkin Donuts.

I really think that Thoreau might have been thinking of "White Castle". MacDonald's was not founded until 1948. (A historical note, it was founded then by the MacDonald brothers. Ray Kroc did not buy in to the fast food concept until 1954.)

I feel as if one could live by happy meal alone. Personally, I don't like coffee, or anything resembling it. While one man may need his Starbucks, this one certainly does not.
