I believe that the earth will sort out the problems caused by man's developing technologies. If it means the end of mankind or the beginning of a new civilization, it will take care of itself.
Of course, we won't be around to see,so what does it matter?

ya,for exapmple through bio tech,they could change DNA chain and create new beings which may be harmful.
