i agree its the fear of rejection. also it can be somethimes that they feel that the girl is out of their league. the question of whether she is engaed to some one or not. would she just blow me off... these are a few q's that grow through our head and by the time we decide the girl is not there any more.

Usually they are either scared or either they don't know how to deal with rejection from girls so to avoid the whole situation they just try to act like they're not interested don't worry they'll come around and when they do you'll have too many to worry about trust me this is coming from too much experience

Fear of rejection, but also fear of not living up to the standards of what he should do based upon peer group. Peer group pressure and what the guys will say tomorrow often ties his tongue, so to speak. Finally, in our society today, thoughts of should i be a gentleman or any of the other alternatives plague his mind. Remember this too. if a boy likes a girl he hesitates to talk to her cuz he doesnt wanna say sumthing wrong that will hurt the gurls feelings or turn the gurl against him

guys are human and do not take rejecton well just like women don't so to help the guy feel a little more confident give him a sign that you are interested.

because they are putting their emotions in jepardy. bge considerate of their feelings. it takes a lot of guts to even come up to a girl even if it isnt one that he likes maybe its her friend or what not he still puts his emotions in the way. its a fear of rejection.
