to clean, use a lint brush or wash it. some cats love laying on wool so you may have to live with it if you keep your blanket out for kitty to have access to.

Wrap your hand with shipping tape, sticky side out. Tap all over the hairy area. The hair will stick to the tape.

Have you tried a lint roller? It's cheap and very easy to use. It is available at most stores i.e: Walmart, Kmart, Dollar Store etc.

Duct tape ? applied very gently.....the hairs might stick to it.
