If so, where can I get some?

Yes, it's known chemically as methyl trichloride.

A chemical supplier would probably be able to provide it. It's a dangerous chemical, though (causes heart attacks amongst other things), and you'd have to supply some evidence of what you wanted it for.

Yes, chloroform exists. It is a solvent (mainly used to dissolve certain organic compounds).

It is not the same as ether.

I wouldn't recommend getting some as it is almost certainly a carcinogen (causes cancer) and has a number of other dangerous side effects. If you do get hold of some I suggest you look carefully into the risks! :-)

you can just make it in your lab. if you don't have a lab, do it in your kitchen. the recipe will be available on line or you can look at the organic chemistry text books...
chloroform can be bought from chemistry labs.

Yes, of course it does. I would want to know what you wanted it for and report that to the police before I told you where to get it.

yes it's real. i have some in my lab, but it's locked and they don't sell it to just anyone or they shouldn't. you used to be able to get it at the pharmacy, but you can't anymore. if you can convince aldrich, fisher, etc. to sell you some all the power to you
