When it started there were no other countries with baseball therefore the champions could claim the world title, today of course other countries play and MLB promotes world wide play but the championship will remain as the World Series, after all it does have an international flavor with all the different countries supplying MLB with players.

The best players in the world are playing in MLB.
So they are making it seem like it's the world's best team.
Really I think the best baseball team is the team that wins the World Baseball Classic is the best team in the world. Similarly to the World Cup for Soccer.
It's countries battling each other on that stage.
Seems like more of a world tourney to me then.
By the way, the US wasn't in the top 4 of that tournament either.

No. This has been requested lots. Toronto Blue Jays are in Canada. There are 2 solid rationalization why this is observed as the international sequence. a million) the U. S. became at one aspect the in basic terms u . s . a . in the international that had a specialist baseball league 2) The gamers in the MLB come from all around the globe. So this is no longer in simple terms US skills in it.

You are right, But I believe it is called the World Series because
millions of homes tune in via radio or satellite to follow the games.
