I´m going on vacation this weekend, and I want to look already tanned when I get there on my bikini. Any advise on brands and application? Can I actually sunbathe a couple of days after I applied the self-tanner? Please HELP!! My ex-boyfriend is gonna be there with his new girlfriend and I want to show them both how good I look! Girls, you know the feeling... Thank you!

Apply a small amount somewhere it wont show, just to make sure it doesn't turn orange.. then apply it all over...easy on elbows and knees and feet. Yes, you can lay out afterwards....you go girl. Make him jealous

Exfoliate your skin before you apply the self tanner. Most brands out there wont turn you orange but give you a natural glow. Self tanners have come a long way. I dont know if one is better than the other - I have heard they are basically all the same. Make sure you blend into your skin completely and as evenly as possible (to avoid looking blotchy). Wash your hands to avoid tanned palms. The label should give you complete instructions for the best method to apply. Also let dry completely before you dress or you will risk staining your clothes. You should have no problem laying out in the sun but be sure you apply sunscreen. Also products that have a hint of shimmer or glitter will also make you look fabulous day or night. Have a great time and be confident in yourself - it will be great!!!

Tha base chemical in self tanners is all the same, so the brand you use really makes no difference. First, exfoliate your skin in the shower really well (especially where skin is thicker, elbows and knees). Then simply apply the tanner evenly over skin as you would body lotion. And yes you can be exposed to the sun immediately after application. Good luck!

use self tanning lotion from taget. make sure you put it on evenly, and give it about three hours before you go into the water... be careful around your feet or the creases in your feet will become darker than the rest of your body. good luck impressing the guy

first exfoliate to get the dead skin off, then use a self tanner that matches your skin tone. Light would be like Renee Zellwiger. Medium like Charlize Theron & dark like eva Menendez. rub it in even unil its all rubbed in.
