The republicans will answer this saying that they did find weapons in Iraq, but they will fail to tell you that these are expired chemical weapons from the 1980s when we have pictures of Saddam shaking hands with our senators.

There has been no threat made to Iran, We are not sure if they are working on Nuclear power or Nuclear weapons. Iran has been linked "supposedly" to N Korea, but probably by the same people who told the US people "we have pictures of the WMDs in Iraq, we know where they are".

We should be pressing harder on N Korea and starting the diplomacy on Iran. N Korea could be days, weeks or months from launching a missile with intent to hit US soil.

However we are also spread thin. We are not meeting our enlistment requirements, and we have three fronts, home defense, Iraq, and Aphganistan. A ground war or Sea to Land war with N Korea would not be so good, they have many more troops, and they have Nukes, meaning a sea attack could get nuked and take out a huge part of our navy, a ground attack will be severely out numbered. Our best way would be LRMs from a distance, and activating our Missile defense systems.

A war with N Korea will be a bad one. Not that any war is not bad, but I am talking real armies against real armies. Right now we are fighting terrorists who shoot and hide, or plant traps and bombs.

Also, a pre-emptive attack on N Korea not supported by China, could invite an attack from China. Talk about outnumbered.

The pattern is owing to Muslim extremists. They are everywhere, and the North Koreans are not. The North Koreans have not blown up sites and killed people in India, in Spain, in the US, in Britain, in Russia, in Indonesia...see a pattern?

Talk about racist extremism and you don't have to go far from your Muslim home to find it, buddy.

It is, I agree, an apparent inconsistency to bother Iran about nukes and not N. Korea, but this is only what is apparent - the same kinds of things are currently being done in regard to N. Korea that are currently being done in regard to Iran: UN, sanctions, third-party supervision, etc.

And it is quite impossible that the US exempts itself from the fundamental norms established by international treaties and at the same time expects that other countries will honor treaties. This current administration is totally inept, for sure.

But the Muslim extremist thing is not the North Korean thing. And it is not as if other countries, especially Japan, are unconcerned about this horrid N. Korean regime having nukes.

It has nothing to do with being a "Muslim" country. We are not at war with Muslims. If we took Kim Jong Ill out militarily, which we could easily do, there would be millions upon millions of refugees flooding into china. Over half the country is being starved by that man now. Mostly it his military that gets fed. The refugee flow would hinder China's economic growth which in turn would hinder ours. China is on the verge of an economic boom unlike the world has ever seen. They will put a lid on the North Koreans when it suits their interests to do so.

I don't know where you get your news (or lack of news) from but Iran has nukes. North Korea has said they also have nukes in their arsenal. Afghanistan has worked with the U.S to help eliminate terrorist in their country. Your tax dollars(Billions) are being spent to improve Iraq's inter-structure. Perhaps you need to better informed before asking questions you know nothing about.
