I've been to Tehran in the summer and the weather can get pretty hot. Especially if you're driving in a non-air-conditioned taxi with 4 people sandwiched in the back seat. The traffic is the worst I've seen in my life, but the people's hospitality makes up for it. There are a few places I suggest visiting while in Tehran: The Main Bazaar, the former US embassy, and any local restaurant for some good kabob.

I have never been to Iran, I would love to go someday. Here are some places that I would like to go,when I get the chance to.
Qom
Mashhad
The shrines of the twelve Imams
Imam Reza Shrine
Fatima's Shrine
I think I spelled all of this right, do a google search and see what you might like to do when you go. Have fun and take lots of pictures.
