Be totally honest. In the application section where it ask for criminal history, state will discuss in interview. Remember to be totally honest and upfront about your conviction. And have a professional resume handy. Make your self seem reformed!

Keep trying, but keep in mind that some people will always show prejudice to your felony. Maybe starting your own business would be good for you.

Try to look for employers whom you know in some way, or have references to.
Strangers are unlikely to ignore or understand the last 1 year's history.

get a job driving some type of truck, many small companies do not do extensive background checks, or you may have to work as a janitor, lawn service, or construction to rebuild your work history.
