We had her laughing a couple of days ago, and it was just adorable! Since then, I've only gotten some chuckles and lots of smiles. I've run out of things to try. Has anything worked for you at this age?

When a baby laughs most is when they can see excitement in your eyes and a big smile on your face.Although they are babies they are actually smarter than most give them credit. My mom didn't believe me,so one day when my son was 4 months old I had him in his little bouncy seat and I told her to sit still and watch.I got a disgusted look on my face and said in a hateful tone.Mommy loves you.he sat there and stared at me with a puzzled look.then I turned away from him then turned around suddenly facing him and smiling and said in a cheerful tone," you're a very bad baby" he smiled and chuckled. My mom was in total disbelief! Different sounding words will have different effects too,My older son would say Shaumooooooooo and my youngest was a few months old would laugh and keep laughing to the point he had tears in his eyes

At three months, the laughs usually are far and few between, it is becuase she is trying to learn so many new things at once. She will start laughing again and more regularly the older she gets. My youngest was the same way, I heard her chuckle/laugh once or twice at three months, then it seemed nothing would work, so I gave up and figured she would start again soon enough. I was right too, about a month later, there was more laughter, then it just kept increasing the older she got. Now she laughs at least four times a day, minimum, and she's a year old now. So just be patient with your daughter, keep encouraging the smiles and chuckles, soon she will be screeching and laughing hysterically. Enjoy the quiet time now while it lasts......LOL!

I have 4 kids & my littlest is 5 mos. I found that even at 3 mos old. They love it when you blow with noise on the neck & or stomach. Also while you are going towards your baby say I'm going to getcha. Try that let me know if ya want to.

Try nibbling on her chin. My son laughed for the first time when I did that to him. It was the only way he would laugh when he was that age. It worked for my daughter too.

I used to dance with my nephew all the time, or he'd sit in his chair and I'd act silly and dance. It would crack him up every time.

Peek-a-boo, tickling, silly faces, anything that would have made her giggle before.
