I am in the military and I share the same questions as you on those subjects. As far as being labeled as unpatriotic, that is because there are so many morons in this country that can not take a minute to think about things in a different way than the way the are told to think. Bush said they had WMDs so everyone believed it. Come to find out, no WMDs. I for one don't think of you as unpatriotic, just a free thinker, whom I a fighting for.

well you are right in the fact that you shouldnt be labeled as unpatriotic because we do live in a country where you should be free to express your opinions about all things, including wars. if others are calling you unpatriotic, then tell them that this is a free country and you are free to have an opinion. if you feel yourself that you are being unpatriotic, then just remember that people have never always agreed with every action done by the government so your not being unpatriotic your just disagreeing with a few people who happen to have the power right now.

You can disagree with the decision for going to war. You can argue about the causes of 9/11.
But if you use untruths or falsehoods or whacky conspiracy theories, then you're just being an idiot. The official reasons for war and the official explanation for what happened on 9/11 are the truth, the reality, the facts.
As Bush told the Democrats, you are entitled to your opinions on the war, but you are not entitled to make up your own 'facts'.

YOU are not being unpatriotic. You are being a patriot! Don't stop questioning the government ever! You are not alone in your desire to know the truth.
People who say you're being unpatriotic are a bunch of dumb sheep who are so under the influence of religion and corporate power they have lost all sense of what is correct. They take the easy life of going along with whatever crap is served them because they don't like to think.
When used correctly, your First Amendment rights will cause you to consider what you say and speak power to truth. Thinking is not a crime. Speaking out is not a crime. Wanting truth is not a crime.

According to me, you are not being unpatriotic, but patriotism means different things to different people. Patriotism is love of country. People express love in different ways. To some people it means unwavering support of the government. To some it means a willingness to hold the government accountable. I agree with the latter.
I wouldn't worry about it. Just because other people say you are unpatriotic doesn't mean you are. You may be unpatriotic according to their definition, but as you can see from some of the answers here, their definition is not the only one.

I get the same result when I dare to Question anything about our government. This group-think process is the result of several things: (1) It is evident that the government-run schools have succeeded in their job to indoctrinate students into believing anything the Feds tell them; (2) Federal disinformation agents are keeping a close eye on Answers because any kind of independent thought is a threat to dictatorial ambitions; (3) We are further along in the path to ultimate tyranny than even I suspected. May God help us all, and enlighten the minds of our children!

Such slurs are thrown around by people who have never had a free moment in their life. They do not understand the Bill of Rights and throw away actual freedom to preserve an illusion.
It is indicative of the increasing ignorance and mob mentality that is on the rise in a thinly veiled totalitarian state.

Smart people won't think you're unpatriotic. Only sheep like Rush Limbaugh and other various republicans take what the President says without questioning it.

I would say that description of you is not accurate. Your questions do not imply you have no love for your country.
People believe that retaliation is in order to further protect our country. In their eyes, if you do not support the war, then you do not want to protect your country, which means you do not love your country, which is unpatriotic. It is faulty logic, but that is the only reason I can think of.

Freedom of speech is fine and dandy until you say soemthing the politicians in charge don't wanna hear. (Or the people who support him) You're not being unpatriotic but they want you to feel that way. That way they don't have to worry about being unable to answer the serious questions.
