I am a mother, grandmother, and foster mother. If you are pregnant with something that is alive, why is it not considered murder to end the life of an unborn child?

TO GUSSIE: God doesn't make a baby a bastard---the two people who conceived the baby do. Sin brings consequences. That's not my rule---that's God's rule.

You are preganant with your very alive unborn child. Life begins at conception. If this is an unwanted pregnancy there are more alternatives to consider. One of these is adoption. I'm sorry if you are going through a difficult time right now. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

If a baby is a gift from God why do some people call a baby born to unwed parents a bastard. That type of attitude only encourages abortion. Why is it to some people the world is seen in just black and white, right or wrong. God made rainbows too.Life is more complicated than a simple yes or no.Where are the anti abortionists lining up to raise the unwanted and unloved children who are born every day. When they are born don't they deserve to be loved? All couples (married and single) are not good parents. Is life in an abusive home better than not being born? There is no easy answer.

That is a big argument amongst pro-live and pro-choice representatives. I say yes. 100% alive. I mean can u imagine something dead growing inside of u?? that's totally gross. However the bible says it's a life, a person, a gift, from God who God knows about before we even thought to have sex. So i say yup it's a living maybe not breathing but alive all the same, it has a heart, and after time lungs, and all the major organs. I has hands, feet, a head a body, everything we have.

Once an egg has been fertilized by a sperm, it's alive. Many pregnant women feel their babies move around after about 4 1/2 months.

When you get pregnant you are pregnant with A living baby. The sperm and egg are both alive too. How do you think women get there peroid's? The egg die's off and causes it but if the egg is met with sperm than no peroid. Research it a little bit.

It's a mini human in there. He/she is alive. But if something goes wrong in a pregnancy then the baby could be dead.

From the moment of conception you are carrying a humane being, it is developing inside you to prepare for the world, yes it is alive.

When you get pregnant, the fertilized egg is a mass of living cells. As this develops into a fetus, it also develops a heartbeat. The point at which a fetus is considered living is a topic of mass debate, however from fertilization on, it is a living thing.

Everything in your body is alive. Your lungs. Your kidneys. Your liver. If it were dead, your body would reject it.

Now if you're looking for a philosphical/spiritual definition of when "life" begins.. well, I guess that depends on whether or not your believe in the soul...

and THAT, I'm not getting into.
