Yea, you should get one of those Pre-Paid CellPhones like Virgin Mobil, Or Cingulars Go Phone, there are many more but thats just a few to name, they are really cheap and you pay whenever you run out of money.

there's tracfone, t-mobile to go, cingular go phone, alltel u prepaid, virgin mobile. whatever you do DON'T get metro pcs because there is limited coverage areas and their phones break really easily.
