I'm in da same boat as u, just made a hpt and had a faint line. That means there is a small baba on da way. I am SOOOOOOOOOOO happy, i'm absolutely over the moon.
After just one month of trying it happened, the best thing ever happened to me.
So darling, we both r goin' to be a mummy!!!!
But just to make sure that da result is right, im goin' to make another test in da morning, when da hormones r more concentrated.
U should do it too.
And get an appointment with ur doc.

Faint positive means you are. If you were not then there would be no line in the window. I just found out 2 weeks ago with a dollar tree pregnancy test 5 days before my period and i had a very faint positive. I was in denial went and got three more from another place and i was pregnant. Faint positive can either mean you are very early in your pregnancy or it means your urine is diluted and it detected the hcg in small amounts. Good luck.

Absolutely. When I got pregnant the first time, it was only a faint line. But I was indeed 4 wks pg. So even if the line is faint, it's still a positive pg test. Congratulations!!

If you already have children, then you "should know" how crucial the first trimester is...
If you suspect, ditch the OTC tests and see the Doc. The sooner you know, the better. Its pretty obvious that you suspect, since you are taking the HPT, unless you routinely do that. And if that is the case, then "faint" may call for a second test.
I'd still advise a doc.

Do another test. A faint positive line can indicate a problem (flaw) in the test, or not enough urine was used, or it can mean that there are not enough hormones to detect. You can do the test any time of the day.

Make an ob/gyn appointment for a pregnancy test and first checkup. You probably are pregnant and there isn't quite enough HCG levels to show a strong positive yet becuase it's still early.

Most likely you are pregnant. To confirm, you could go to your doctor or try another test in a couple days, first thing in the morning of course (the pregnancy hormones are more concentrated in your urine when you first wake up).

A line is a line, no matter how faint. Sounds to me like you're pregnant. Congrats!
