i just wanted to talk about Freddie Mercury, I love him, his name i know it was not his real name.. I loved his voice. I loved his stage presents. I miss him.. I just wanted to get something started. I'm the one who always asks questions about him.

Queen was a phenomenal band with great songs for its time. Freddie Mercury had a unique voice (you try to sing Bohemian Rhapsody and then you will know just how talented he was) and was the driving force behind the band. And they were awesome in concert. Remember, the 70s and 80s were times of excess and what was considered normal or cool back then may look ridiculous by today's standards.
And try not to "hate" anyone or anything in life. It's such a strong and negative word, and there is far too much hate in this world already.

While I might not personally agree with the lifestyle Freddie Mercury lived (queer as a three dollar bill) there is no denying he was an amazing musical genius. I suppose you like piece of crap rap artists like 50 cent and eminem huh? Freddie Mercury took command of a stage and ruled it. His voice (years of classical opera training) is widely regarded as one of, if not the best of all time. People will still be listening to his music years from now where as 50 cent and eminem are flashes in the pan. Maybe you don't like Freddie Mercury because he wasn't as physically beautiful as these fake puppets with no talent the industry forces down our throats these days. And as far as stage presence goes. . . all 50 cent and eminem do is walk back and forth. .. swear every other word. . and shake their arms like monkys. Music sales are down because as the music industry recently admitted. . . . today's artists are all crap! Every single song is the same. . .get drunk. . get high. . . shoot somebody. . .screw a whore. The videos are all the same as well. You'll be interested to know in the Queen song Radio Ga Ga Freddie Mercury sings about and predicted the demise of radio. A time where video pushed real music aside. . . "We hardly need to use our ears how music changes through the years". He also predicted however that radio would make it's comeback when we grew tired of all the fake eye candy that passes for music and musicians. "So stick around cause we still need you. . when we grow tire of all that's visual. You've had your time. . you've had the power. . .you've yet to have. . your finest hour" I'll just blame your ignorance on your youth and the fact that like most teens these days you let MTV think for you. Speaking of which. . MTV sucks the big one. What a gangster thug controlled piece of garbage it turned into. DO they even play videos anymore? I saw this guy in Vancouver on an open stage. Laura Brannigan was there too and some other dudes. I have to admit I liked what I heard and saw. It was an era of some beautiful songs written and played. He might have been weird in some ways but the name Freddie Mercury will live on forever.
Don't say you hate him. Just say I don't like his music or I don't care for the man. Hate is final.

Freddy Mercury is commonly considered one of the best male vocalists from the classic rock era. He was also a dominant frontman who put on an amazing show.
I suggest you listen to the song "The Show Must Go On' to experience Mercury's depth, range, power and emotion.
One person's trash is another person's treasure. Why would you 'hate' him? It's fine to say you don't care for his style of music - that's your personal opinion. Perhaps the millions and millions of people who bought his records are all wrong?
