There are worse presidents. And the deficit has nothing to do with accomplishments. Every president has had a deficit, including the illusionary surplus (a paper surplus based on projected gains that never materialized) of Clinton. Every president, except Andrew Jackson, has left office with the nation in debt. Therefore, using your reasoning, every president has been incompetent. Yet, people do not claim that Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson, FDR, Wilson, or JQA as incompetent. I can only reason that your dislike for Bush colors your perspective of factual data. But that is OK. At least you have an opinion, even if it it clouded in error, unreason, and ignorance. Selective interpretation of data, as well as selectively choosing which data to examine, is part and parcel in political criticisms. I do not like Bush, but for other reasons.
Ciao!

Absolutely. All you bashing Clinton forget about the budget SURPLUS he built that Bush spent and showered on the rich in the form of Tax Cuts for the elite. Along with starting a war to line the pockets of himself and all his rich cronies, while sacrificing many good young American Women and Men and hundreds of thousands of innocent bystanders! Oh, yes, please don't forget how he's managed to erode our Consitutional freedoms to segregate more power into the Executive Branch and relatively neutralizing congress by encouraging cronism and pork-barrel politics!
As Charlie Brown would say: ARGGHHHH!!!!!
Just ask yourself one simple question: Are you better off today than before he took office? Right, I thought so! The only way you can answer yes is if you're in the top 20% Tax Bracket!

Congress is responsible for spending, although the president can veto a budget. President Bush has accomplished some things, he got tax cuts passed, and is prosecuting the war on terror.
Jimmy Carter was a failure at domestic policy (see any economic data from the 70's) and a failure at foreign policy (see any data about dealing with Iranian hostages). So I'd say he is probably the most incompetent ever.

How can people say Clinton, when he left the office there was a surplus of money and Bush spent it all. Did you ever see Zoolander with Ben Stiller. He has one look and everyone thinks it looks different every time he does a different posses. That how I think some American feel that way about the President. In the great words of Will Ferrel " I FEEL LIKE I'M TAKING CRAZY PILLS"

Just about. He sure has done a great job of screwing America up.
As for those who said Clinton (*cough republicans cough*), they obviously forgot to check their facts, because they forgot that he actually gave a surplus in the economy. That's the opposite of what Bush has done...

It beats me how people would make a pie out of Sh$t. Believe me, there are some warped human beings here on Yahoo, who do handstands on any scrap of news to bolster the position of this failed administration.

I used to think so, then I figured that we can't decide until after he has been out of office for 10 years or so.

All I know is that I don't pay as much in taxes as I did under Clinton. That's good enough for me. Lower my taxes, win my heart.

No. That would be the first president to use the word "Nuculer". And he had a degree in nuclear engineering.
